My wife and I are shopping for a home in the south Denver metro area and have narrowed it down to Littleton/unincorporated Jefferson County or Centennial. Within these two areas we are looking at homes between C-470 and actual S. Broadway for what we're categorizing as Littleton, and closer to I-25 for Centennial, say between S. Colorado Blvd and I-25. Recognizing that these two are neighboring communities and likely have a lot in common, for those who are familiar with these two areas, which would you prefer to live in and why? Thanks in advance for your insight.

Always helps a lot if we know where the job is and your price point plus anything else that matters to you, like schools, etc.

My job is currently located near the Federal Center in Lakewood but that could very well change to either downtown Denver or the Tech Center area so we're trying to prepare as best we can for all possibilities. Therefore, both the current commute and potential future commutes must be taken into account. The price point is up to about 750k and in terms of things that matter, quality schools are very important as well as access to outdoor activity and convenient grocery stores and restaurants. Thanks for asking.
