A few days ago, there was a thread about the job market in Denver. I responded, along with Katiana and a few others, about what we were seeing in our areas. The thread seems to have gone missing. Did it take a turn for the worse and need to be deleted? Or was it subsumed into another thread?

I responded to that one too, was wondering what was going on. I think it was actually on the Colorado forum, not the Denver forum though. The thread was completely deleted, as I received a rep point comment for one of my posts there and now on my Control Panel listing that thread title says "N/A."

That's weird, Vegas. Last time, I checked the thread, the conversation was civil and on topic. I checked Jazz's recession thread, thinking the comments had been moved there, but no dice. Perhaps the OP had it deleted for some reason?

Mystery solved: apparently, it was deleted at the OP's request.

The OP wanted to close it, thus Katz closed it. The way the system works, if the Original Post is deleted it takes the WHOLE thread with it. However, there is a trick that crafty mods (aka old geeks) know, which is to COPY the other stuff to a new thread, leaving only the OP's posting in the deleted category. There was nothing wrong with the OP or the thread, and since the info y'all had in that thread was GOOD stuff, I moved it to a brand new thread so you can keep on going.
