I am really looking forward to my weekend in Copper Mt. but I am worried about my flight out of Denver on Monday morning. Since my flight is at 10AM, I'd like to get to the airport at least by 9:00 AM. The drive from Copper Mt is about 2 hours, so should I start heading out by 6 AM or even earlier? Will I hit rush hours straight on? I'm from Chicago, so the idea of rush hour is an imminet threat to me. Is taking I-70E straight through the city a bad idea? Any and all advice will be dearly appreciated!

If you leave Copper at 6am, you'll be fine. You can take 70 all the way to Pena

I agree, 6 a.m. should be fine for getting there ontime. It's the north-south highways that tend to have the morning jams, east-west (I-70) not so much.
