I live outside Denver and am coming into town this evening to see Wicked at the Denver Center for Performing Arts. I'm planning to drive, and I saw that the Center's web site says, "Parking is limited at the arts complex. Consider using light rail."

I love light rail in general, but I don't think it's going to be very convenient for my group's plans this evening. So my question is, can anyone give me some advice for parking near the theater? The show is at 8:00 this evening. Is the garage at the Center unrealistic (I'm guessing it is)? What about other nearby garages? Street parking? Other options I'm not thinking of? I don't mind walking 10-15 minutes or so.

Thank you for your help!

Every time we go to the show, we drive and park in one of the garages near by (almost always for the evening show). Those garages have Always been deserted. Last time, I was the only car on the level that I could see.

Don't sweat it.

Hope you enjoy Wicked, our tickets are still for a few weeks out.

That makes me feel better - thank you!

Now all I have to do is make sure I don't drive like a moron in the light snow that's falling.

The Colorado Convention Center has a massive garage and is only a block away. There is even a bridge between the two buildings. Entrances are on Speer (WB) and Champa (One way SB).
