I don't know any easy way to get a list. I too have heard over 50. Google wasn't much help to me, but I only tried for a few minutes. Hopefully someone can track this down.

Have you worked in insurance before? Are you willing to start at the bottom (call center type work)? Unless you're actively recruited by the company, you can't expect much.

Not true. Companies hire attorneys, IT people, HR people, investment people, accounting types, etc. etc. etc. all the time that have never worked in the industry before.

As for corporate locations, EMC, Nationwide, Aviva, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Travelers...that I can think of right now. Some are life insurance, others car, others property, some everything, etc.
