The "no bread" type of bread usually works faster for weight loss.

For some maybe. I can't imagine a life without bread because it's so delicious. Man has eaten bread for thousands of years so the argument that it is fattening has the same credibility to me as fat is bad, egg yolk is bad, milk is bad, everything is bad, etc. You got to eat it as unrefined possible but other than that it's just another sad fad to think bread makes you fat and I can only imagine fat people claiming that it is fattening.

I agree that it's hard to impossible to completely eliminate. I was using an extreme position to prove a point that opting for no bread is sometimes the best option. Truth be told, we eat Trader Joe's sprouted rye which only has 8g carbs, almost half of it fiber. 1 slice slathered with butter along with our eggs and bacon for optimal weight loss.

Just as Saiga said, no bread is absolutely the best for weight loss. But I know for some people they refuse to eliminate it so with that being said, the best option would be the Trader Joes Rye, and the Trader Joes whole wheat.

Where bread really gets bad and screws up anyone's weight loss is when they order/eat bread at restaraunts before the food arrives, when they put butter on it, eat too much white bread, biscuits, sandwiches, etc.

One slice of rye or wheat bread with almond butter or one slice with bowl of light tuna (with kidney beans) is okay.

But for anyone who really wants/needs to lose weight they should try to eliminate the breads.

No bread for weight loss.
Any of the above breads, in moderation, for weight maintenance.

This is true for me also.

When I was losing weight, I ate no more than 2 pieces of bread every 2 or 3 days. Now, I have 2 pieces a day - usually a peanut butter sandwich. But if I have tacos for lunch (corn tortillas), I don't eat bread that day. If I have brown rice (which I do only once in a while), I don't eat bread that day.

Unfortunately, most of what we have in our grocery stores bears very little, if any, resemblance to the breads our ancestors ate.
