Need to get rid of 35-40lbs, sometimes I day dream, if there's a way I can lose my weight healthily steadily permanently without having to worry about maintenance, I would be more than happy to drop down $2000 on it, or even more.

Do people share the same thought?

LOL! As a daydream, absolutely! I would love to have a magic pill that allows me to eat what I want, when I want and maintain a decent weight.

Unfortunately, then I try on a new pair of pants or a swimsuit and reality sets in right quick!

I'd pay at least $2000 a lb if it was permanent and I could keep it off forever (and eat whatever I wanted).

I'd pay a lot of money to permanently alleviate my food addiction and resultant obesity.I've considered bariatric surgery but the procedure costs $25K and they want me to lose 30lbs before they will consider it,well i dont have that kind of money and if i could discover a way to lose 30lbs i wouldnt need the surgery.

It takes motivation and as I mentioned here a friend who started at 262 lbs has taken off over 82 lbs in about 8 months or so. She was committed and will stay that way. If a person on the verge of a major health issue won't do something drastic then it's too bad.

Cutting out all WHITES (flour, sugars) and moving more. Lots of water.

It is hard to change our outlook on food after years of thinking a certain way. Look at it as fuel for your body; would you overfill your gas tank to where it was running out of the tank? Eat when you're hungry, stop as soon as you feel satisfied and try to do some sort of exercise or sport that you enjoy.
