What a story! God bless Deborah and her efforts to save these poor babies. As much as it is heartbreaking to read, I do love to hear endearing stories like these in the media, making more people aware of the plight of these animals.

OMG, that area sounds horrendous! I don't understand why patrol cars don't go out there and catch some of these people dumping these dogs. So sad. That woman and the other volunteers are angels for sure!

This is shocking, I can't believe animals are being abandoned here regularly and it's been going on for years (Corridor Rescue started in '08!) Is animal control doing nothing to resolve this? I live in Houston and had no idea I wonder if the SPCA could help her with placing the dogs and vet care, it sounds like there are more dogs than she can help right away... I know the SPCA would investigate cruelty too (Animal Cops), after 2 years I would think they have to be aware of this...?

There is a wish list on the rescue's website, I will definitely be donating dog food ect. to them.
