Nipping Issue (terriers, yorkie, walk, blanket)

I have no idea why my Yorkie wants to bit me or nip at me, but he is. I wanted to go for a walk and jiggled his leash and harness in front of him, and there he goes...nipped at my lower pants leg and shoe more than once. Then he also thought I was going to take his blanket that he's humps away and his mouth started quivering and he tried to nip me again. Is this a common thing with Yorkshire Terriers~?
