He's not healthy enough to get vaccines or have his teeth cleaned yet, so he'll be stayin at West Warwick Shelter until he's ready to come home. So now I'll have three West Warwick adoptions of five dogs! Guess I'm branching out from herding dog mutts to shepherd mixes. Love those seniors.
West Warwick Angels (animal control officer and shelter both) rock.
He's adorable! I'm trying to talk my husband into a second dog, but we're not ready for that yet until we get a place with a yard. I really should stop looking at Petfinder, because this little guy is exactly what we're looking for:
You're wise to wait for a yard. But he's a cute guy!
I found my Artie by idly looking at petfinder, wonderinf if there were any cattle dogs on the East Coast. Someone decided he was a cattle dog mix, so there began my adoption career with West Warwick Animal Shelter. Don't think there's a lot of herding going on in West Warwick, but they swear that's what the animal control officer called him.
Petfinder is dangerous. Love it!
Very happy for the sweet senior and yourself, it won't be long before his sad soulful expression changes to one of a very happy contented and grateful guy
Bless you for adopting an older dog. They need homes to.
Best of luck to you.
