I usually run w/ my dog about 20-30 minutes a day, use to run more ...but now my shins hurt so I'm taking a break.
My doggies isn't the best at bringing things back. He will, but it's not fun to him.
Well, we played soccer in the back yard today and he was awesome. We play keep away w/ the ball, he steals it and hides it and thinks the porch is base.
I'll ask him to lay down and then say "ready" and we fight over the ball all up and down the yard ...he eventually always gets it. a few times I grabbed him and the ball and ran(he wasn't sure about that, but I found it funny). I tried to play this game w/ my friends dog and he only wants to play ball by himself ...cody wants to play w/ us! Wether it's the hand game, soccer, tuga war,etc. He's a people doggie
I might do this for a while rather then a run, it takes more energy to play keep away then running and he loves it way more then running ...we will go for a walk though, as he loves his walks.
I just had to share. My dog is not agility,flyball, material but he's as awesome as they get. ....he's gonna be awesome w/ children. In all the running around and wrestling he only niped at my pants once(which is awesome for a aussie)
