My 13 year old Boston Terrier has right side heart failure and has been having trouble breathing lately, so my vet put her on furosemide liquid 1.5ml every eight hours and Vetmedin twice a day. My biggest problem now is that Molly seems to stay thirsty, and I'm not sure if I should stop her from drinking too much water. I don't want her to become dehydrated, but then I'm afraid her drinking too much water may cancel out any benefits of the meds. Has anyone else here been through this?
