Have you ran her in the Solms or HZP?
Have you force fetched her yet or is your friend doing that?
As far as force fetching- no, I have not done that. She does an okay job on the retrieve. My friend is going to force fetch her but I suspect it will not take long. She's a so-so retriever, like most GSP's.. If it suits them, lol.
Well she's safe and sound in SD at a big training camp, so I'm happy. My breeder friend is very happy as well. We all saw her potential so a lot of folks are rooting for the little Pearl..

Solms/HZP are the european fall tests. Solms is strictly for DK's but they allow the DK's to do HZP in its place, which is similar, but for all JGHV breeds, so DD's, Munterlanders, etc...I suppose in Montana you'd have a hell of a drive to get to one, not sure though.

Ahh.. Yes my breeder takes her DK's to those. Usually in WA state or CA.
So Pearl is not 100% DK- she's 75% DK, so not sure if she would could be recognized. However even if she was- I'd probably opt not to do that. I have to consider what I really want from her- a good well rounded field dog with an emphasis on water/ducks and geese.
Did something a little different with Pearl today. We hiked up a mountain looking for mountain grouse. She did a great job pointing out one ruffed grouse and 2 dusky's. She covered some ground today- I hiked over 8 miles, so she did twice that, up elevation and in thick, thick timber...
