This is a very interesting video America and the Dollar.

It's worth a watch. It's an hour or so long and to pause it just click on the video screen.

I watched 5 minutes, but I'm not watching an hour of a guy talking and him using a power point to type out those words. Either way, he's calling for riots and a collapse of the U.S. Treasury in 12 months. Tin foil.

When the world is convinced the dollar is going in the tank it makes for an eventual nice opportunity to go against the "common" thinking. Dollar could continue to lose some trade weighted value, but when imports are much larger than exports on an almost continual basis that screams out for adjustments in exchange rates does it not?

Wow, the guy who is featured on Alex Jone's show?

If you believe this crap, it is so sad I find it hard to even mock it. Find help.

Maybe the Wall Street Journal and CNN are crap too since they are saying the same thing as Porter?

Not a lot of new information in that video, but there is some.

HERE'S A TIP: Clink the link and let the video start. Then close the browser window. You will get a "do you really want to leave this page?" dialog box. Chose stay on page. After this the browser displays the video as written text instead. MUCH EASIER TO READ than to watch the lethargic "powerpoint" video.

BTW, I'm not sure Yugoslavia is an appropriate frame of reference for the US. In 1993 - 1995 they were in the midst of a horrible civil war and break-up of the nation, so of course their currency system broke down.

However, as America collapses, surely it will involve itself in military conflicts if not start a major armed conflict itself by attacking others. Like the Stansberry guy keeps saying in the video, "in fact, this is already happening right now..."

Most of the financial big-boys, including even brilliant bearish guys like Nouriel Roubini, say that the US losing world reserve currency status is not happening any time soon.

No, they don't say the same thing. They say something worrying, but not the lunatic doom and gloom contained in the video. Big damn difference.

Sort of like saying that the problem is some one being without a good lay in the last year because you were widowed is the same as being terrified of women because they are a near 40 year old virgin.
