of course ,we can able to promote the business in Facebook ,it is technically known as Social Media Optimization, The like pages in the Facebook promote this.

Reason I posted this is because I got an e-mail advertising (from Facebook) $50 dollars in free advertising. Just wondering how legit this is and if there are any problems long term of doing this. I don't have a business but I have a sports page I have been running. Almost 100 likes in about a months time. I figured if it's free to do why not? But it's not worth doing if I get locked into anything.

yes, I have a couple of fans pages on FB with about 200,000 fans. It's free advertisements, when one Fan of mine like a link I posted, all his 200 friends will see it.

The upside is huge. that's why i believe in FB.
