Five Guys Burgers and Fries plans West Side location - El Paso Times

Five Guys Burgers has leased a 2,422-square-feet at Sunland Towne Centre, located at Sunland Park and South Mesa Hills drives.
The eatery, which was voted the best burger among quick-service chain restaurants in a survey of 6,500 diners by Zagat, serves burgers, of course, with numerous toppings, hot dogs, grilled sandwiches and fries.

Sunland Towne Centre is the Carino's / Bed Bath and Beyond center. At 2400 sqft it doesn't sound like they are taking the old FYI space.

IMHO, I think Five guys definitely has a better burger.
With In n out's expansion to the Dallas area, I see them coming to El Paso probably in 3-5 years.

Had an "In N Out" burger yesterday. It was OK but nothing to write home about like some might think. I think you had to grow up with it to appreciate it. I did not so it was just another burger.

Five guys is definately a great Burger!
We have one here in ABQ. Its a little better than In N Out, with the same concept emphasis on everything fresh. It will be a hit in El Paso. Here in ABQ its always packed!
