Alright, all you El Pasoans. Let's come gather around the computer campfire and pass the marshmallows. I'd like to find out which El Paso TV station is the one you watch most frequently for news and weather. Do you have a favorite? I'll also include a poll so you guys can vote on who your favorite is.

Let's find out which one stands out for you. This should be fun. Let 'er rip!

Well Case, I don't watch much TV. I can tell you what station News I refuse to watch. News 7. They are bigoted, one-sided, story tellers over there and I wont have anything to do with them. I get most of my news from the internet.

Well, hey, if you don't like 7, there's always 4, 9, and 14. You can get clips on the internet from the stations' web sites and you can choose which story you want or if you want to see an entire segment.

On my visits to EP, I watch all of them. I don't have a particular favorite, although 7 is the one I frequent the most. Of course, here in Dallas, the internet is always handy......

I cant stand him either.. or Estela Cases. Or how ever you spell her name. Robert Bettes was the only reason to watch the stations news.. thank goodness he moved to 4.

Default KFOX Watchers - Are You Out There?

I'm surprised nobody to this point has chosen KFOX 14 in our poll. That's supposed to be one of the highest-rated newscasts out of all the FOX stations in America. I'm surprised no one has chosen them yet. It's still early - I'm sure we'll eventually get some.

Case the only time I ever watched FOX, was when we had the flood here.. they had nonstop coverage.. and they also covered my house that had knee deep water and ankle deep mud in it afterwords, out on the NE side of town.. no one else bothered.

Default How About 7 Together?

When I visit El Paso (every, um, 2 years or so), I generally watch pretty much all of them, though I do gravitate to 7 quite often. Channel 7, like it or not, has been the market leader for a number of years. Here at my apartment (in another area in Texas), I got the awesome privilege of looking at news segments from the very computer in which I bring you these writings.

WRITER'S NOTE: The title at the top refers to an old Channel 7 ad campaign from about 20 years ago. Having the internet is such a cool thing.
