Oh I agree El Paso is fantastic at Night.. I love working nights here.. when I was on patrol on Fort Bliss at nights it was serene. Maybe because all the busy bodies are sleeping?

Yes I love El Paso at night.. the way the lights play off the trees, the quiet, the calm.

...Until the sun rises, the smog comes over the city, the wind blows the wonderful sand around, and I get an allergy attack!!!

I have to agree that the nights in EP are very beautiful especially after a rain shower. I miss that smell.

Summer nights are good but the early mornings in Late May, June and thru July are to die for if you are an early riser. That to me is the best time of the day or night. Quiet, serene, the birds signing, and everything looks fresh and when it rains we get the dew.

Unfortunately we are in a terrible dry spell. Eight months of little or no rain has dried the land and if it had not been for the seven inches of snow in November the region would be a dust bowl. Arizon, new mexico and West tExas are extremely dry and Central Texas is drying out too now.

But you are right ..the nights here are great.
