Yepp, El Paso dropped from the 24th largest city to the 21st largest city. And that was just with 9 thousand people.. wonder how far we'll drop when we get the 30 thousand people?

Now dropping in this is really raising.. but I wanted to get your attention. =)

Not according to the El Paso Times.. we have been the 24th. I want to edit the above statement too, I said 9000, and it was only 6000 that made us drop in number.

I'm guessing because the cities in front of El Paso dropped a lot more. I always thought El Paso was growing.

Numbers can be misleading as some cities population may drop but the outlying suburbs or incorporated may be growing and not show in the stats. I read that Las Cruces city leaders raised cain as it showed LC barely growing and yet thousands of new homes and people have moved to the incorporated East Mesa area and did not show up in the census numbers.

Well, regardless, El Paso is growing and won't stop. And that's a real good thing. Hope to come see y'all in '09 or '10 when I come visit, but then, that's another thread.
