Of course, I think he voted right down the line with obama's agenda as well - maybe that's why he's so "sensitive" about it.

NC 2nd District Flash Poll | John W. Pope Civitas Institute

Ellmers is up 39-38%.

obama is under water at 55% disapproval in a swing state he won.

53% less likely to vote for candidate that supported the disastrous obamacare, which Etheridge did.

61% less likely to vote for candidate who voted for TARP.

84% heard about Etheridge's assault.

All good news for the GOP.

I think even if I was a devout liberal I would have trouble supporting him at this stage..

The Dem's policies have been an assault on the American people for some time.
Now the Dems are resorting to physical assault.

Have you ever wondered if these Progressives think that they are above the law?

This could help to beat him, since the district really does swing toward the democrats.

Is Etheridge In*Trouble? - Real Clear Politics – TIME.com

Quote:
At the state and local level it is quite a bit more Democratic (much like PA-12). In 2008 -- a good Democratic year overall -- Democrats carried the district up and down the ticket. On average, Democrats ran about five points above their statewide average here. The only race Republicans came close to carrying in this district was the Ag Commissioner race; the other races were won by Democrats by double digits.

Looks like GOP needs to do a better job of explaining what cap and trade would mean to individuals both directly and indirectly. They need to run some TV ads. I don't think they are doing a good job explaining to people the costs that will be passed on down to them.

Why wonder, it is evident by their actions that they believe they are.

Actions have consequences. I guess this means Etheridge understanding that physical assault can get an elected politician up for re-election fired in quick order.
