Amazing how desperate the Left is to quote and rely on republican opinion.

They are desperate to hang with the 'in' crowd!

I think that's what will happen now that the GOP has control of the House.

There is a constant inner struggle with his own ego. He's highly educated, but he may lack the cognitive ability to control himself. Like many idealists, he may consider power grabs to offset the gain in power by Republicans in the house as they prevent onerous legislation from making it through. He reminds me a bit of Salvador Allende.

Fittingly, national public television saw fit to award Allende the honor of the greatest Chilean ever. Really? The guy who promoted social justice by stealing from Peter to pay Paul and caused hyperinflation as a result? The same guy who was canonized by communist East Germany with a stamp showing his face? That same Allende?

if they sit around and do nothing in this economy, it'll be a death blow to them
Exactly! They want Obama to look bad so they aren't going to try to change a thing.

Now it seems like they are just looking for a hand out.
I don''t think moving to the center will even help: If he moves further left like some socialist would like or even stays where he is those to the middle and right (the majority now) will thrown him out; if he moves center it will be nothing more than a ploy and people do not trust him anymore.

The secret: Republicans, get a good and dynamic candidate and the White House will be yours again!!!

Today's losses weren't even as bad as Truman's, his party lost both the house and the senate.

The economy and jobs will decide Obama's fate.
But your foregetting one of the most important voting areas of lastnight. This was a cencus year and redistricting will result. Republicans taking 10 governorship gains and so many state house gains puts them in the drivers seat in doing it. My state alone is expected to gain four congressional seats and democrats took a massive losss last night here. Politcs starts at the local level and works to the federal level really.
