President Obama’s poll ratings are climbing. And the online prediction market Intrade has Obama at a 58.9 percent chance of winning a second term. Though November 2012 is light years away in political time, as Team Obama regroups in Chicago, they should be optimistic about their reelection prospects. Here are 12 reasons why:

A very well-written article. Highly recommended.

They left off one very good one, Palin. Palin Will run she can't help herself. When she does she will split the GOP voters, not by half but my guess would be 25-30%. That is enough to kill any chance the GOP would have of winning. I would also add that I have seen no new faces in the dicussions on GOP candidates and if they try with a retread then they are doomed before ever getting out the starting gate.

Frankly, I cannot see Sarah making it through the primaries. And I don't see her as organized or rich enough to start a third party run, a la Ross Perot.

You'll never see Obama break a sweat, he's one cool customer
As for broken promises? you are looking at the glass as half empty, try it the otherway round
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-me.../promise-kept/

Problem with the repubs is they are their own worst enemy, they have no solutions to Americas problems, all they are good at is criticizing the opposition., no front runner to lead them, too many extremists in the party and talking for them in the media, and an internal conflict between moderate repubs and the tea party.
2012 elections? put your money on Obama. If Palin is his opposition it will be a no contest= Obama wins in a landslide..

Lightbulb Hair color?

From the linked article, I guess this picture was taken before he started using hair products to hide the grey hair... Once the polling data is gathered, he'll decide which hair color to use for the 2012 primary run against Hillary.

I'm sure the corrupt labor unions will make sure he gets whatever money he wants... it won't save him though, the American people won't make this mistake twice.
