Watch the media spin this and say Sarah Palin was the one who got the most votes even though she had half of the votes Paul got

The bigger surprises may have been the lack of support for Tea Party candidate Michele Bachmann and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney. Romney’s conservative support continues to evaporate.
Love how tax collector Bachmann is the tea party favorite when the tea party was Ron Paul's creation that was hijacked by the Fox News conservatives. Of course they'd be surprised because they are shills for Romney and whoever is the hot flavor of the month and in this case it's Bachmann (preceded by Herman Cain, and before him Tim Pawlenty)

That's because the Tea Party doesn't do their homework on the candidates. If they did they wouldn't go near Bachman ( a former lawyer for the IRS) with a 10 foot pole!

The "tea party" that the media refers to are just Sean Hannity's lackeys. Really sad that Ron Paul's Tea Party got hijacked by these pro-war Reagan Republicans.

When you take a step back and look at the what happened through a non-political prism it is easy to see that the Dr Paul movement of 07-08 was so popular that it couldn't avoid being highjacked. The Republicans nominated the wrong candidate in 2008.

This year Dr Paul is running a better campaign, while keeping his previous grassroots efforts alive. Anyone who campaigns for liberty will be backing him rather than the rest of the republican hopefuls who would continue the failed policies of the administrations before them.

Nah, they pull the same trick as they had in 2007: Just ignore the #1 and focus on the runner up.

yep they should have nominated Fred Thompson or Duncan Hunter; I guess we all live and learn, or some learn.
