It's called overcompensating.

Bachmann bought Iowa with concert tickets in return for each vote. Eliminating that factor it was Paul who won IA straw poll.

Richie Cunningham won student body president once I think, and I'd call it a comparable feat with equal meaning. The reality is HC is just another in the asterisk category (based on polls), and its not likely any of them can get away from that.

Sorry I left to take a short nap and slept past the announcement of the results. I guess the results were pretty screwy with the Bankster Cain winning and Gardasil Rick coing in second and Romney the liar flip flopper 3rd; Santorum "they hate us for our prosperity" comes in 4th and Ron Paul who missed his speech was 5th.

That is certainly a switch. Well wasn't Florida the state that had so many problems figuring out how to vote (the chad issue) that a presidential election was held up one year? Floridians aren't the sharpest kife in the stack, that is for sure.

Herman Cain wins GOP Florida straw poll; Rick Perry in second place - Washington Times

I wonder what happened to Paul when he was supposed to give his speech before the voting? They announced he was coming out to speak and some other guy came out instead.

Ron Paul wasn't scheduled to speak today. He is campaigning elsewhere.

There was $150 straw poll tax to vote in the Florida Straw Poll.

Ron Paul's guys & gals are poor!

Didn't Bilderberg meet with Cain at one time or another?
