Just interested on the organization behind it. I give Obama credit for running the most impressive campaign in US history, and I assume it will be only more efficient in 2012. I'd like some insight from people who are volunteering and what they have you doing, etc.

I know some people who are long-time local and state democratic workers who have nothing but negative things to say about OFA (Obama's campaign team) because they come in with their own staff, take over the entire office, and absolutely refuse to work with the local staff who actually know the area and the people, where to canvass, etc. and it winds up taking resources away from downticket and local candidates.

I won't be as trying to get a Democrat elected for president in Texas is an exercise in futility.

I may work on some local campaigns, however.
