[quote=Evenstar51;21632680]Federal employees are often civil servants; contrary to popular belief, all government employees do not change when an administration change occurs. If she works for the federal government under the aegis of the Civil Service Commission, there's no political allegiance required; many Republicans have retained their jobs under President Obama, just as many civil servants retained their jobs when Bush replaced Clinton.

United States civil service - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In fact, political activity is expressly forbidden:

Quote:
Under the Hatch Act of 1939, civil servants are not allowed to engage in political activities while performing their duties.[2] [end quote]
You are right. I was a federal employee through Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43.

Oh dear...she also seems to be a serial filer of lawsuits;

AP Exclusive: Accuser filed complaint in next job - Yahoo! News

Quote:
WASHINGTON (AP) — A woman who settled a sexual harassment complaint against GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain in 1999 complained three years later at her next job about unfair treatment, saying she should be allowed to work from home after a serious car accident and accusing a manager of circulating a sexually charged email, The Associated Press has learned.
The sexually charged email was one of those comparisons of men and women to computers.

This is her idea of sexual harassment?

Quote:
Cain said he remembered gesturing to Kraushaar and noting that she was the same height as Cain's wife, about chin-high to Cain.

Kraushaar has not returned phone calls left by The Daily thus far.

Sharon is said to be filing for bankruptcy for the third time (the charm as they say). Anyone confirm this?

She explained in her press statement: she went to a Tea Party meeting knowing he'd be there, to confront him. She went up to him and asked "do you remember me?" to see if he'd be man enough to acknowledge what he did. Witnesses who saw them speak said the encounter was tense-looking.

But you bring up an interesting point: you heard she was photographed with him? And yet Cain says he's never met or seen her before in all his life.

Oooops...

Cain aide wrongly insists they've 'confirmed' accuser's son works for POLITICO - Maggie Haberman - POLITICO.com

So someone with the same last name as one of the women Cain harassed works for Politico. Thus, per the Cain camp, this means they're closely related... ?

Someone should tell Reggie Bush and Kate Bush that they're closely related to the previous President of the United States...
