You need an I.D. for everything in this life!! Especially for the important stuff! Banking, writing checks, buying a house, buying a car, loans, driving!!!

So what's the big deal.....unless you are up to no good and just don't wanna be caught!!!

The last election was over 3 years ago! If you couldn't vote in that election because you didn't have I.D., the first thing you should HAVE done, the next day, was go get one, for the next time!! THE NEXT DAY!!

WE HAVE HAD AMPLE TIME FOR EVERYBODY TO GET AN I.D. TO VOTE IN THE NEXT ELECTION!! If you don't have one by now, you just don't think it's important!

You just want to yell racism and talk about how the white man and the GOP are trying to rig the election and keep black folks out!!

News Flash!! White folks gotta have IDs too!! Somehow, they go and get theirs.

For a second there I thought Holder was gonna do his sworn duty and prosecute the Black Panther voter intimidation case. Silly me.

Mantra of the Democratic Party: Get out there and vote this election day! Vote early and vote often! Republicans would like to be able to do the same.

Dems are better at double and triple voting than Repubs. Much better. Just because you're better at cheating than the other guy doesn't mean it's right.

The solution is ridiculously simple. Every state who wants to require a photo ID in order to vote needs to make State ID Cards with a person's picture on it free. No more $15 or whatever surcharge they want to do. And if a person has a valid driver's license, then no need for the State ID of course. Set requirements to keep the process simple and relatively painless.

The whole purpose? One person = one vote. That is not voter discrimination.

After reading the op's title, I thought that the justice department was finally telling the truth about how they and only they want to have the job of deciding who to let vote.

The existing laws mean nothing to them, just the social agenda that they are pushing. Not leveling the playing field, instead tilting it in the direction that benefits them (not the nation) the most.

Once again, by denying what they are truly doing, they exhibit the "transparancy" this administration promised to display.

None.
