Santorum Scandal Cover For John Ensign - YouTube

Always keep this in mind - if someone pushes "family values", then definitely they are in reality, anything but.

Do you really think you are helping Paul by bringing all the negatives up you can find?

You do a good job of staying positive Nita and that is commendable.

But does the GOP really want to send up a nominee that has skeletons lurking in the closet? This is a good time to drag out everyone's dirty laundry. Otherwise, it'd be the kiss of death in the general election.

They've already managed to get the racist card to stick to a guy who isn't a racist: Ron Paul. So I don't expect anyone is going to be playing nice going forward.

Do you really think you are helping the GOP by turning a blind eye to all the negatives about a potential nominee?

You think Obama wouldn't drag all this out in the general election?

You think a potential GOP voter wouldn't want to know the truth about whom they are voting for?

You think if there was enough time to vet Santorum, he would have even made the top 5 in IA?

It depends on the skeletons to be honest, but I am sick of all the negatism and I am the last person (almost) to support Santorum. He is way too socially conservative for me. The rest, we will see what happens. He isn't going to get the nomination anyway.

Well I fail to see where the 'big scandal' here is regarding santourum.A friend told santorum that another friend was banging his wife, which he knew because his wife and the friend admitted it,and santorum called up the cheating friend and advised him to get on top of it......whoopee...big scandal.

Perhaps 'mr. morality' should have stayed out of it but people often have trouble strongly condemning friends or family for behavior that they wouldn't tolerate from strangers.People cant stand cheaters...until their friend gets caught.Want all drugheads locked up...until their son or daughter gets busted with a little pot.Want the drunks locked up...until their dad gets busted coming home from the bar.....its human nature and all this faux rage by left leaning journalists is just as hypocritical as what santorum did.He should have stayed out of it but it doesn't sound to me like he had much to do with it anyway.

There really are better issues to highlight about santorum if your object is to inform voters.......he has made plenty of public statements on a variety of issues which would likely turn off a significant number of voters, and at least those issues are actually about him.I'm no fan of santorum but this 'skeleton in the closet' is a bit weak, and unlikely to turn anyone from him who liked him to begin with.

Oklahoma senator Coburn was also involved in the Ensign scandal, but Oklahomans still think the world of Coburn.
