Again - looking at how the media influences the masses.
Gingrich won SC and took over the FLA lead. Then big-wig conservatives jumped into action against Gingrich.
Drugde (dug up anti-Reagan quips), Fox News, former Republican Congressmen
And now Drudge has a reader poll showing Romney first and Gingrich
last. That makes no sense to me based on the momentum Gingrich had - that he would find himself behind Paul and Santorum.
Then a blog,
Legal Insurrection, has a bunch of people who worked w/ Reagan, along with Nancy & Michael, that is endorsing Gingrich.

What do these elite Republicans know about Gingrich that they are not saying?
While I don't know how conservative Gingrich would govern, he does have a track record of leadership and was a big part of the balanced budget in the 90's. That can't be denied. And he does know how to defend conservatism.
Romney still has trouble putting two conservative thoughts together.
There's a disconnect that has yet to be discovered at this point.
