With the economy rapidly improving before everyone's eyes and all of the republican spin being shot to smithereens, Romney's chances of being a competitive nominee are essentially toast. The one reason - the one and only reason - the republicans were considering holding their noses and voting for Romney was because they were working overtime to keep the economy in the gutter so that they could trot the businessman out in front of the cameras and claim him to be the economic savior. But like I said, the economy's improving, removing any reason for republicans to consider Romney.
Looks like it's back to God, gay-bashing, and fetuses for the Republicans. And Santorum is probably gonna be their guy from now on.
Can't blame this one on "liberal slanted pollsters", can ya Romney fans?
Santorum is going to do extremely well for himself in the Midwest/middle of the country. If Gingrich continues to slide, Santorum could easily take a chunk of the South as well.
Michigan is huge for Mitt.
I never thought I'd say this, but Romney's real chances of winning the nomination are in serious jeopardy. There's no more need for an economic alternative to Obama - not unless there's a war with Iran or some other unforeseen event.

I wouldn't be surprised by much at this point. What a crazy year already.
For the Republican primaries. Not the general election, right?
