In the last PPP poll, Santorum led Romney by 15 points. In this one, Santorum led Romney by only four points.

Which with it being PPP, Romney is probably actually ahead. This is good. I knew it was tightening up and with some of Santorum's stupid remarks this weekend it should tighten even more.

PPP's crosstabs show Romney's favorability gain being the primary mover for his numbers. On their twitter feed they point to cash flow as the deciding factor. Their AZ and WA polls out tomorrow and Tuesday respectively have better numbers for Santorum since Romney isn't spending as much money in either place compared to MI, yet.

This is probably the most interesting tidbit from the poll:

Quote:
Groups Santorum has double digit leads with include Protestants (up 47-30), union members (up 43-23), Evangelicals (up 51-24), Tea Partiers (up 55-20), 'very conservative' voters (up 54-23), and men (up 40-28).

Romney is leading the field with women (38-34), seniors (42-34), moderates (35-24), 'somewhat conservative' voters (40-34), and Catholics (43-31).

You still respond because in your heart of hearts you know it's true. I hope Mr. Dixiegirl7 isn't the jealous type!

That doesn't even make sense. If PPP was some supposed left biased pollster, they would be propping up Willard, not Santorum.

You know unless something changes soon, not sure RS is gonna make it. Just don't see the dollars going there.

every romney person i know will vote for obama if santorum is the nominee.

the truth is romney is a progressive moderate: his words, not mine.

his followers are trolls who only vote for the letter in front of a name, disillusioned dems and confused conservatives.
