(Reuters) - Employers hired far fewer workers in March than in previous months, keeping the door open for the Federal Reserve to provide more monetary support for a still sluggish economy.

That was less than half the average monthly increase in the prior three months and way below the lowest estimate in a Reuters survey. Economists had expected an increase of 203,000 and the jobless rate to hold at 8.3 percent.

Romney is going to inherit a huge mess from this administration. Hopefully he can clear up all of Oblama's massive epic fail.

There never truly was a jobs recovery and their has not been any economic recovery. Using fuzzy math to make the headlines look better does not put jobs or money in the people's pockets and they know it.

Are we or are we not adding jobs?

I'll take modest improvement over the economic free fall the last administration left us with any day. Of course, I would have preferred that Democrats not act like spineless wimps and actually worked to stimulate the economy back when they had the chance, instead of caving to a bunch of America-hating right wingers who set out to hurt the economy just to score political points.

If not he can just chant "It's Obamas fault!" over and over and over again for three years like Obamas done with Bush.

The over a year straight record of job creation, not to mention creating more private sector jobs in his first 6 months than W did during his entire presidency?
Yes, let's please go back to those GOP policies that caused america to lose 3/4 of a million jobs a month. That will fix things

Democrats war on middle class? What a joke. democrats have done nothing but try to help the middle class unlike the repubs who only try to help the elite. If anyone is at war with the middle class its the republicans.

you are wrong. the gop helps the rich and the dems help the poor. both parties dont like helping the middle class at all. so please dont go there. without the middle class, neither the gop nor the dems would ever get elected to office.

The GOP helps the richest of the rich where the dems help the middle class. Because of the right wing machine, the middle class is now becoming the poor.

The unemployment rate fell once again 120,000 new jobs were added and the job growth numbers for Feb. were adjusted up by another 60,000. If this is a record of failure, I am agog to see what you all consider success.
