I'm speechless.

No kidding.

I keep telling the useless eaters they will get a reward from the IRS if they make a report of wrongdoing and the IRS finds the report to be valid.

But they just sit and whine and say incredibly dumb things.

The birthers were absurd, that's definitely correct.

This is also absurd. I'm guessing that you simply rolled your eyes when the birthers demanded he show his birth certificate.

What do you think the proper response to this sort of accusation should be?

I don't know why we all just can't trust in what Romney says, after all when he showed that when running for Gov in Mass, they could trust that he was filing his tax returns in Mass .... well, until he had to admit, that he lied about. So sorry. In the immortal words of that Left Wing Republican nut job, Ronnie Reagan, "Trust but verify".

The Obama campaign has offered a way out for Romney on the Taxes mess, ... should he take it? Sounds reasonable to me, but then I am a rational person....

It is the exact same logic. You can ignore this, but it is true.

"He won't release private information that legally he does not have to, therefore he has something to hide..."

Where does it end?

Well, the "birthers" are making up a story, the "taxer" are talking about obvious facts. Romney has not released but 1 partial year and a promise of 1 more. Those are facts.

LOL..it's the stories of why that are so funny and make you taxers look like the birthers did in 2008.

What are you looking for ? That he's rich ? Yeah, we know that already. And legally he released what he had to.

Default Obama offers Romney a deal on tax releases

President Obama's campaign is offering Mitt Romney a deal: Release five years of tax returns, and we'll stop demanding more.

"Governor Romney apparently fears that the more he offers, the more our campaign will demand that he provide," wrote Obama campaign manager Jim Messina in a letter today Romney counterpart Matt Rhoades.

"So," Messina added, "I am prepared to provide assurances on just that point: if the Governor will release five years of returns, I commit in turn that we will not criticize him for not releasing more -- neither in ads nor in other public communications or commentary for the rest of the campaign."
The offer comes a day after Romney said he has paid a tax rate of at 13% per year over the past decade
