Quarterback, trusts and trustees. Monday night football doesn't start for months.

At issue is when Romney left Bain, and whether he was at the helm when it sent jobs overseas.

The documents, filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, place Romney in charge of Bain from 1999 to 2001, a period in which the company outsourced jobs and ran companies that fell into bankruptcy.

Romney has tried to distance himself from this period in Bain’s history, saying on financial disclosure forms he had no active role in Bain as of February 1999.

They'd better replace Romney. We know he's a liar, but he may be a criminal too.

Bain capital invests in companies.

You aren't trying to suggest the doll company was running the investment company are you? You do know that isn't how VC works right?
Bain runs the companies it invests in does it not? Otherwise, how can Mitt take credit for all those minimum wage jobs he supposedly created at Staples or Dominos?

Yup, Bain runs the companies it invests in. Will you now admit you lied when you claimed Romney attended Bain Capital board meetings after 1999?

Thanks or the opportunity to point out John King, David Agrgan,Washington Post, Fortune have all proven Obama is a lar.

"But first, is there anything other than the SEC filings to suggest a hands-on Romney role at Bain post-February 1999?
No is the word from four sources who communicated with CNN on Thursday -- all of whom have firsthand knowledge of Bain's operations at the time in question. Three of the four are Democrats, and two of the four are active Obama supporters in Campaign 2012.
All four told me Romney is telling the truth."

Romney can't have it both ways. Romney can't claim to have created all those jobs after 1999 if he also claims he was not part of outsourcing of jobs after 1999.

Quote:
The best the campaign has done: providing a list to FactCheck.org of recent or current employment at three big companies where Bain invested: Staples, which had 89,000 employees as of Dec. 31, 2010; Sports Authority, which had 15,000 employees as of July 2011; and Domino’s Pizza, which has added 7,900 jobs since 1999. But Romney left Bain in 1999, so it hardly seems plausible to suggest that he created the positions that make up the current head counts at those companies.

Of course he can. Every job created by a company he got started can be attributed to him regardless of if he was with the company when the job was created.

Sorry Charlie you have failed exceptionally. I have proven repeatedly that Obama is a lar, you ain't helping your man.

I never stated that. All I did was post Romney's own testimony. If you have a problem with that lie, you need to take it up with him!

Romney testified that he "remained on the board of the Staples Corporation and Marriott International, the LifeLike Corporation" at the time.
