Sorta like bush and the huge pile of Crap he left for Obama. I guess we know what Mittens "experience" will do to our economy... After he duck away.

It isn't a matter of associating or disassociating himself from Bain, it's about telling the truth. But you raise a good question. Why did Obama risk being called a liar by the MSM to try and say Romney was running the company until 2002?
Because Mitt testified to such under oath. However, I am glad you have come to realize MSM is a quality news source!

Perhaps this is the reason.

Mitt is calling Mitt a liar! He contradicts himself.

Also, do you actually believe Mitt knew nothing about what was happening with a company that he owned 100%? Not the kind of behavior that would make for a good POTUS!

Of course your wrong, and now even the HufPo admits Obama is lying. Very bad for Obama.

"Just because you are listed as an owner of shares does not mean you have a managerial role." There have also been several legal and economic scholars that have weighed who also find the claims against Romney to be dubious. Yet, President Obama continues to run the deceptive attack ads anyway. It appears that the promises of "Hope & Change" have been totally thrown out of the Obama re-election campaign."

But why does it bother you so much? Afraid that the truth is coming out about your candidate?

It's really funny that people think Mitt would take a leave of absence, fully intending to return to Bain, would tell the Directors he left to run the Company, do anything they want, don't worry about what practices he established. Errr, sure he would? Some here continue to sit down at their computer to regurgitate that nonsense! Get real.

Despite Romney's statements that he left in 1999, Conard's new remarks suggest that, in fact, Romney's continued ownership of the firm enabled him to negotiate a better exit deal. "We had to negotiate with Mitt because he was an owner of the firm," Conard said.

The legal transfer of ownership dragged on for three years after Romney's informal departure to run the Olympics in Salt Lake City, Conard said, because Romney was aggressively negotiating his retirement package and compensation with executives and lawyers at the company.

"He'd created a lot of franchise value, and we were going to pay him for that," Conard said, adding: "We had a very complicated set of negotiations that took us about two years for us to unwind. During that time a management committee ran the firm, and we could hardly get Mitt to come back to negotiate the terms of his departure because he was working so hard on the Olympics."
