Open your mouth and change feet, John. How in the world could Mitt be a bigger joke than Palin? He's not even funny.
But we DO appreciate your input, since you are in the know.

Asked why he chose not to go with Romney, McCain said: "Oh come on, because we thought that Sarah Palin was the better candidate..."

Better as in more malevolent and reckless? Or better as in more efficiently deluding peoples attention away from the guilty and make it illegal to defend ourselves from crime syndicates?

I'm not a huge Sarah fan, but I can see how she would be a better number 2 than Mitt. Romneys definitely a leader whereas the VP role is one more about personal appeal than actual qualifications

I think Romney has changed a lot since 2008. He has moved steadily rightward. Maybe it's all a charade, but I doubt it, because he has continued to run well to the right even after he locked up the nomination. If and when he gets into office we'll see if he walks the walk, but for now it doesn't really matter. He would have my vote over Obama on the issue of competence alone.

Sarah Palin is the best actress who ever was a top candidate. She was given 2 scripts during the campaign; one for her stump speech and the other for the Vice Presidential debate, and she memorized both. She used those talking points throughout the campaign.
Whenever she went off the scripts, she always made a scrambled hash of her off the cuff speaking. But when she stayed on the script, she was brilliant.

Rmoney has similar scripts, but he is nowhere as good as Palin in their delivery, and he was worse in 2008. The difference is Mitt creates his own talking points, but Sarah depended on McCain's people to do all the writing and thinking.

All I can say is, with lips that loose, I'm glad John is not in the Oval Office guarding any state secrets.

It would have been kinder if he had hit Willard in the head with a shovel.

Relevant because John McCain considered Romney as a VP pick, and passed him over for a "better candidate" who was dumber than a coffee can full of pea gravel.

Doesn't say much for Mitty.
