I did not say what you "quoted" me saying. That was your post with my name attached to it.

This election is about the economy, which is the most important issue to voters. Obama has been an economic failure, therefore, inspite of all the failed personal attacks by the libs, Romney wins big in November. I really doubt that the even Obama campaign would put out television commercials stating that Romeny paid no taxes. That would put them in quite a legal bind. Like all the other false claims made against Romney, this one will fizzle as well. Unless there is proof, it is an unsubstantiated lie.

It is incumbent upon Reid and the libs to actually present facts to back thier accusation.

There doesn't have to be anything illegal. Romney, like everyone else would, takes advantage of the privileges his wealth allows. Nothing illegal about it.

However, Romney will lose the votes of middle-class independents voters if his returns show that he has been paying 0%-10% on his taxes.

Right-

People who are concerned ABOUT THE ECONOMY (the number one issue for voters) will suddenly change thier minds and vote for four more years of economic misery with a proven failure like Obama.

Get real- Bo has failed economically and therefore loses the election. All the petty, slanderous attacks by the liberals are only important to liberals- no one else cares. People will vote in the candidate they feel will best address the economic woes of the US. That candidate is not Obama.

Wow! Reid seems pretty confident about his claims.
I doubt it. Old Harry has taken heavy flak from all sides of the MSM for his silly statements, but he's learned from watching Pelosi...if you're a lib there's no hole too deep to dig because he doesn't give a fig about honor or ethics and he's knows how easy and desperate you nitwits on the left are to be dazzled by bright shiny objects that have nothing to do with Obama 's miserable performance.

I quote "He didn’t pay taxes for 10 years! Now, do I know that that’s true? Well, I’m not certain,” Reid told HuffPo"
he also said “His poor father must be so embarrassed about his son,” Reid said"
What a classy guy

In 2008, Romney release years of tax records, when he was being vetted by John McCain.

The only years missing, are 2008 and 2009.

Is this a witch hunt?

Where do you people get these lies? Romney paid over 13% in 2010. That's NOT zero. That's NOT "paid no taxes".

Romney paid no taxes and you and I got to make up for his greed. He got a giant tax break for his "permanent residence " in Utah while claiming to be a Massachusetts resident. He has hundreds of millions salted away overseas that remain untaxed. What a classy guy

Romney could put this whole thing to bed by simply releasing his tax records.

Unless Reid's claim is accurate.
