'The Tax Policy Center took a close look at Republican nominee Mitt Romney's proposed tax and economic plan and concluded that it would cut taxes for the richest Americans and actually raise them on the poor.
Romney has proposed cutting all tax rates by 20% and eliminating tax deductions, while also capping federal government spending at 20% of GDP.
After doing the math, the Tax Policy Center concluded that this would help the country's highest-earners and hurt the lowest-earners.'
My..my, would it mean that those 50% who don't pay income taxes would have to actually pay something for benefits they recieve...they won't any longer get a free ride? Geez, heavens to mergatroy...
Well President set aside, singles making $33K will be hit with AMT next year as will couples making $48K.
You can thank Congress for that. That's no proposal, that's FACT.
If his plan calls for eliminating deductions would that not hurt the wealthy? All I hear is how the wealthy have access to all these deductions. Is that realy not true?
LMFAO, political propaganda, LOL, well lets see gas prices are 3 to 4 times what they were, food prices as almost double, homes are outrageiously high, more than 50% of the population pay 0 taxes yet get refunds as well as assistance. You want to know something, I bought a Geo Metro in 1989 for a little over $5000 and it got 58miles per gallon, now days the cheapest new vehicle are over double that and can't break the 40 mile per gallon threshold. The world is upside down my friends and we are willing to make this class warfare. Man I hope the Lord comes soon.

Many of the poorest don't pay taxes. Does this mean they will start?
If you had read the report, you would notice that the "poorest who don't pay taxes," are not part of the equation.
