Barack Obama has done much kindness in his life including this which was confirmed by the woman it happened to.

Prowler Productions • View topic - Obama Helped Stranded Stranger 20 Years Ago

Quote:
It was 1988, and Mary Andersen was at the Miami airport checking in for a long flight to Norway to be with her husband when the airline representative informed her that she wouldn't be able to check her luggage without paying a 100 surcharge:

When it was finally Mary's turn, she got the message that would crush her bubbling feeling of happiness.

-You'll have to pay a 103 dollar surcharge if you want to bring both those suitcases to Norway, the man behind the counter said.

<snip>

As tears streamed down her face, she heard a "gentle and friendly voice" behind her saying, "That's okay, I'll pay for her."
Mary turned around to see a tall man whom she had never seen before.

-He had a gentle and kind voice that was still firm and decisive. The first thing I thought was, Who is this man?
OTOH, Romney was involved in bullying a gay student in his prep school and doesn't remember it.

How Mitt Romney Bullied a Gay Student at Cranbrook : The New Yorker

Quote:
A fourth boy who was there that day, David Seed, still had it on his mind when he stopped for a drink at a bar in O’Hare Airport thirty years later, and “noticed a familiar face”:
“Hey, you’re John Lauber,” Seed recalled saying at the start of a brief conversation. Seed, also among those who witnessed the Romney-led incident, had gone on to a career as a teacher and principal. Now he had something to get off his chest.
“I’m sorry that I didn’t do more to help in the situation,” he said.
Lauber paused, then responded, “It was horrible.” He went on to explain how frightened he was during the incident, and acknowledged to Seed, “It’s something I have thought about a lot since then.”
The boy, John Lauber, died in 2004 of cancer.

Wow, now they are finding character references from 20+ years ago for the then known drug addict, but no girl or boyfriends have been found that have come forth to say they dated this man... STRANGE IMO

Even the family of that student say it never happened.

We know all we need to know about obama's character and it ain't good. Romney is a stand up guy and will be our next president. It won't even be close.

Obama is nothing more than a personification of the depravity which has slowly allowed the Democratic Party to degenerate into nothing more than a collection of radicals and misfits .... each fooling him/herself into believing that his/her particular agenda and the so-called "common good" are one and the same .... and that at some country club, somewhere, there is a clique of "rich Republicans" and a vault full of wealth stolen from "duuh people" that can pay for it all.

Those who don't learn from history are condemned to repeat it.

Romney is a bully even now. He seems to be a compulsive liar.

Romney seems to lie even about trivial things. There is often an *element* of truth, but he exaggerates.

Romney Learns That ‘Facts Are Stubborn Things’ - New York Times

Quote:
When asked at town hall forums about his stance on guns, Mr. Romney portrayed himself as a sportsman, a “hunter pretty much all my life,” who strongly supported the right to bear arms.
But

Quote:
After the notion was challenged by The Associated Press, Mr. Romney’s campaign initially conceded that those were the only two instances he had really been hunting in his life, but later rushed to add that he had also gone pistol shooting for “varmints” at his vacation home in Utah, although he did not have a hunting license or own a gun.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but what makes you say he's a stand up guy? He flip-flops, he doesn't even have stated positions on most issues, or they are vague. He knows how to make dozens of millions easily & avoid taxes. The childhood bullying, he may have had to join a group of bullies to have any friends? Poor social skills? He favors prison for some harmless people, such as people enrolled in their state MMJ program who have cancer or other life-threatening illnesses & just want a better chance to live and not have to be in pain. Like Obama, he got purchased by special interest groups.

Romney wants many more wars, a million dead, corps make billions, taxpayers get bill for trillions. We can't afford it. Obama wants some more wars + forced health care, also unaffordable. US could go beyond bankruptcy, US dissolves as country into 50 countries, good or bad?

Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson is not for sale & cares about the 100% equally. He has very detailed positions & explains the benefits. He is abnormally honest, kind, smart, hard-working. He talks to people of all types, definitely not a snob, despite being wealthy. Was very popular as 8 yr guv of NM. Also, he promises balanced budget 1st year, abolish IRS, Dept of Educ, drug war, less other wars. Big believer in personal freedoms as in Constitution. Romney & Obama don't like Constitution very much. Johnson would end Patriot Act (unlimited warrantless spying) & NDAA (100 yrs prison w/out charges).

The poll ISideWith dot com shows Gary Johnson would win if people voted by issues positions only. Please if you can be open-minded, before voting check garyjohnson2012 dot com/ Thanks!

Mr Steal your pension and load you with debt Romney while at Harvard protested against the people who wanted an end to Vietnam and then ran away to France so he could be a missionary for his Religon.

No guts as the saying goes.
