LOL You're too funny I guess you missed the Gallup poll where Romney is +2. Since it's of registered voters he's probably around +4 to +6 among likely voters.

1) The national popular vote and the electoral vote have diverged exactly once when third party candidates have not gotten electoral votes. That was in 2000, when Gore won the popular vote by 0.5% and Bush won in the electoral college by four electoral votes. Of course there are more safe Democratic states than safe Republican states. This has been the case ever since California, New York, and Illinois have been safe Democratic states and Pennsylvania has been a Democratic-leaning state. Texas is the only one of the 6 most populous states that is safe Republican. Florida is the only one that is a battleground state (though it leans slightly more Republican than the nation as a whole). This is offset by the fact that the current battleground states (or at least the ones with the most EV's) have in recent elections leaned slightly more Republican than the nation as a whole.

2) Huffington Post is the only one of those that has Obama at 270, which is what he needs to win. The others may have him "leading" in EV's, but not winning. Please learn what the terminology you use actually means. The Huffington Post gives him states where he is ahead only very slightly and is only polling in the mid 40's and where his approval is in the mid 40's and gives them to him (even some of the ones that don't have him at 270 are actually giving him states where he is only polling in the mid 40's and where his approval is in the mid 40's).

Perhaps you should take a look at this:

And Rasmussen has Romney +3 and Gallup has Romney +2.

Fox News has Obama with more of a lead than any other recent poll.

Every political operative on Fox says Romney is losing. I don't see much happiness on that station the past few days.

Here is the link to Polling Report.

The Rasmussen poll would be more believable if they polled outside the RNC...

Rasmussen is like the kid eating worms on the playground, always off and different from everyone else.

Obama is almost NEVER breaking 50, and undecideds historically vote against the incumbent in their referendum election.

50 is the key number for Obama, and I'm delighted at his inability to break over that wall.
