People may not see it on the surface but IMO the Republican party selected Romney to throw under the bus this election cycle so that Jeb Bush could have a clear path to the Republican nomination in 2016.

No you don't get it. We don't want another progressive, so we get another round of picking the lesser of the same evil.
We want a total opposite constitutional conservative.
The GOP Machine silenced the Conservative, last time around. They didn't even hide it.
Jeb appears to be playing "clear the field," line up enough money and endorsements and scare the competition off. It didn't work for Romney and I don't think that it will work for Jeb.
I think we all need to calm down, yes, it sounds like he is making a run or at least putting his feelers out, but there is still a long time to go: let's see how things start shaping up in about a year? We have the 2014 mid term elections to focus on now..

I wouldn't think it would matter to much to you: you most likely would not vote for anyone that was a Republican..In fact I would think it would make you happy to have someone run, that many Democrats think would be easy to beat, where I am wrong? Nita
I honestly believe people have had enough of the Bushes now.
Jeb won't ever run. He's the smart one, and knows he'll never overcome his brother's legacy.
But who knows? There is another Bush generation beginning to enter politics, and maybe, 20 years from now, one of them may make a go at it. It would be interesting to watch a Bush kid go toe to toe with a Kennedy kid in a future race.

I think there is a 50/50 chance he will run, but I don't see it as a sure bet...I wouldn't put my money on it...
