Personally, I had no problem with the moderators in these last two debates and I especially love the Fact Checking portions of the after-debate coverage. I propose a debate format that allows a moderator/s to do instant challenges with up-to-the-minute fact checking abilities. This would keep the debate's mindless blather about numbers to a minimum - if they knew they would be called on their deliberate deception. I DON'T like the present formats where both candidates can just say portions of the truth or flat out lies and we have to just listen and put up with it. This format would be more informative and play a bigger role in the "undecided" people making a decision. Of course, I would also propose that the Green and Libertarian party candidates be allowed to participate - but that is another thread. It's a rudimentary idea that does have it's challenges . . . but let the discussion begin.

The problem is the time crunch--the debates would last for days. The fact checks are offered by the various news agencies.

That is a challenge! Perhaps, because everyone already knows the main talking points they will use, that some of these fact checks can be pre-done?
