Let's keep this one simple...
With only a 30% chance of winning Ohio, Mitt Romney cannot win this election.
President Obama is going to win a second term.
That's all folks!

If he does win I hope he at least tries to listen to other opinions and work with others. If not we'll have 4 years of continual slide.

Election 2012: Ohio President - Rasmussen Reports™

The polls (which have been oversampling democrats) have it at a dead heat.

More propaganda with no evidence to back it up.

I guess the libs think if they start enough threads about Romney having little chance in Ohio, Obama will win.

They're not oversampling Democrats. There actually are many more Democrats than Republicans at this point in time. There are also many voters who were Republicans in 2008 that are now Democrats. And which party are new voters mostly affiliated with? Democrats. A close election makes for great TV, but the truth is this one will be over before people on the east coast sit down to dinner. With a 30% chance of winning Ohio, Romney has a 0% chance of winning the election. Once he loses the debate tonight that will be the official end of the line. Tomorrow his chances of winning Ohio drop to about 15%.

The electoral vote is ultimately all that counts, and even though Romney has improved in national polls, it hasn't really changed much for him in the key swing states. Or as Nate Silver of 538 puts it,

"The “new normal” of the presidential campaign is considerably more favorable for (Romney) than the environment before the first debate, in Denver. However, it is one in which he still seems to be trailing, by perhaps 2 percentage points, in the states that are most vital in the Electoral College.

These estimates might seem to be incongruous with national polls that show a nearly tied race. But the FiveThirtyEight method is, principally, an Electoral College simulation, and therefore relies more heavily on state-by-state polls."

That's all the right wingers have left to run on. When they're losing, they cry conspiracy.
