I did. Main reason was that I would be out of town on election day.
But soooo glad I did. It allowed me the time to actually read up on all the different elections and propositions we were voting on and make an informed decision. I can't imagine people leaving that until they get into the polling station.
I will vote on election day. I like the excitement of voting that day. Plus the poll is just half a block down and across the street from me. I go in the early morning before all the crowds. I get up early, shower, and go before 7:00 am, when it's still dark.

I, too, enjoyed the tradition of going to my polling place. We are strictly mail-in now,except for "drop boxes" distributed throughout the county. "voted" on Sunday
I will vote with my wife on Election day. Always have done it that way...I enjoy the day get to watch the numbers roll in and the states get called for each candidate..I will be watching Gary Johnson's numbers but than anything..
