If the Dems had any class or shame they would be a shamed of themselves in regards to how they've attacked a good decent man.

Quote:
Why is Mitt Romney rising? Americans who watched the GOP nominee debate President Obama never met the cold, greedy, sexist, racist, carcinogenic tax cheat that Team Obama promised would appear. The calm, steady, and reasonable gentleman who opposed Obama was no Gordon Gekko.

Americans might like Romney even more if they understood his random acts of kindness and significant feats of bravery. As Mara Gay, Dan Hirschhorn, and M. L. Nestel wrote for TheDaily.com: “A man weighed down by the image of a heartless corporate raider who can’t relate to people actually has a history of doing remarkably kind things for those in need.”

• After Joey O’Donnell, 12, died of cystic fibrosis in 1986, Romney built a playground in his honor. “There he was, with a hammer in his belt, the Mitt nobody sees,” the boy’s father and Romney’s neighbor, Joseph O’Donnell, told Michael Kranish and Scott Helman, authors of The Real Romney. A year later, Joey’s Park needed maintenance. “The next thing I know, my wife calls me up and says, ‘You’re not going to believe this, but Mitt Romney is down with a bunch of Boy Scouts and they’re working on the park.’ . . . He did it for like the next five years, without ever calling to say, ‘We’re doing this,’ without a reporter in tow, not looking for any credit.”

Actually I have always said the say anything for a vote version of Romney would show up to the debates, just like he did in the primaries where he said anything to pretend he was a far right Republican.

I remember the older couple that spoke at the GOP convention. Their son died at 14. Mitt spent time with the boy, wrote his will for him,and just made things much easier for the family. They think the world of him.

And how does this change the fact that he's a liar?

"B-b-but Obama lied about what he would do in 4 years..."

I am sure Mitt is a good person, but I am more interested in how he is as a politician and he actions and comments he has made over his years of campaigning are what have made me not like him as a politician.

Agreed no matter who wins Obama and his Chicago thugs have brought this country lower by their behavior. Can you imagine if Mitt launched the level of personal invective against Obama? Chris Matthews and the entire MSM would come down on him as some sort of Grand Dragon of the KKK.

Mitt is no doubt a terrific human bean.... but we're not electing "Mother Teresa", we're electing a President (and unfortunately Mitt doesn't qualify).

BTW, anyone care to give some examples of all this supposed "defamation" Obama specifically has done to him?

Classy liberal, Exhibit A. It used to be a dueling offense to call your political opponent a liar. Now Obama uses the word so freely his fan club thinks it's ok.

Obama has changed his positions heck he's changed them this week. One agenda goes into a shiny brochure another agenda off the record for Iowa newspaper.

If Mitt loses I'll be disappointed but at least I supported the more honorable man.

Look, I don't care how Mitt Romney made his money. I don't care what he's done with it.

What I do care about, is that the man doesn't know math and is a joke as far as what he is campaigning on.

And if any one person votes for Romney, because they are worried about a deficit, they are either dumb, or they are hypocrites.

I'm not voting for Romney, or Obama. I've been saying that for a long time. But Romney is selling even more lies, or he's going to explode the deficit even more then the current President is.
