Chris Christie Hurricane Sandy Response - Chris Christie, Your Future President, Sandy Edition - Esquire

The first sentence doesnt make sense, but the story is otherwise pretty interesting.

Overall, I kind of like Christie...always have to be honest. A lot of people are put off by his direct, sometimes blunt personality...but I think its refreshing. Sadly, he is probably too moderate to ever have a shot at getting a nomination for the GOP.

no, unless he loses 100 pounds.

elections are american idol now. nobody is voting for some 350 lb guy

have you noticed that over the past 50 years politicians have gone from less attractive to as attractive to more attractive then the populace.

every 50 year old man wanted to bang sarah palin and women swooned over obama.

nobody is swooning over christie.

I'd vote for him. I love the fact that he speaks his mind and that he's not a bull****ter as Obama would say.

I think his personality trumps his looks. It's sad that this country has turned into one that cares more about looks than much else though.

Obama looks like Curious George. Only desperate and/or hideous woman would swoon over him.

Lets not kid ourselves.

If Christie were the GOP candidate right now all the liberals on this thread would have 10,000 nicknames for him and joss whedon would be calling him the anti christ.

It's just like the whole thing with the backup quarterback being the most popular guy on the team. As soon as he is thrown into the game the bloodthirsty critics tear him apart. Christie would be no different. However...I bet Christie would have cussed out someone by now which would have at least been fun to watch....lol
