Why do people start threads implying Romney supporters are stupid sheep who will run at the first sign of failure. Are they trying to demoralize Romney supporters by implying they are weak?

The most amusing thing about this thread is that it begins with a post from Free Republic. They absolutely despise Romney on that site--in fact, during the primaries the owner of FR, Jim Robinson, was zotting anyone who so much as hinted at supporting him. He only relented when it was obvious Romney won the nomination, and only then because his hatred of President Obama was greater than his hatred of Mitt Romney. Read the responses to that post--there is no love of Romney on that site, only hatred of anyone who isn't residing on the far right side of the political spectrum.

An announcement like that would cut both ways. Democrats on the west coast would hear the "good news" and decide not to vote. I'm pretty sure the Obama campaign staff is smarter than this.

Overall, the article is pure, unattributed hearsay.

Why would the Obama campaign announce that they have the election in the bag if they don't? You don't get it--if they really are behind, announcing they're winning would suppress their own vote (why bother voting if we're going to win anyway) and encourage R's to show up in swing states to prove him wrong. What you're saying doesn't even make sense, but since we went through a year of folks on CD saying that they were SURE Obama would declare martial law to stop the elections, nothing surprises me anymore.

Why are you conservatives wasting your time here?

The banks are open on the East coast. You still have time to wire money to intrade.com. You can get 3-1 odds against Romney, who you KNOW is going to win.

While you're at the bank, drawn down that home equity line to zero. You KNOW this is a sure thing, you'll never have another opportunity like this.

Take those patsies for everything they're worth! They're just waiting for you to separate them from their money.

The day is not over. Obama still has time to declare martial law. And to declare he has won. And that the OP started a thread that implies Romney supporters are idiots.
