I think the list of food stamps recipients should be published, and a publicly accessible database of the foods they buy with them maintained. If your going to be on the dole, how about some transparency?

These two posts make me so proud to be liberal and to vote for our President again. OP, may you never find yourself in hard times and in need of those programs you scoff so much at. I actually agree with you that quite a few people who are getting food stamps dont feel proud to be on them and I know I would want the opportunity to bring this economy back so I could again feed my family on my own. Many of these people will vote for Romney...not everyone embraces welfare for life like you do.
