To be fair they didn't redistrict him out of his seat, the voters did. In 2010 Florida passed an Amendment calling for districts to be contigious. The previous district was such an extreme GOP gerrymander of an absolutely insane shape. It was in a heavily Dem area, and the only way the GOP could make a district other than Dem in that area, it had to have an insane shape. The GOP was still able to gerrymander (and they did), but they were limited in how extreme they could gerrymander with the shapes, which made it impossible for West.

He doesn't act black? Now who's being the racist?

I called him an Uncle Tom because he behaves like one. I didn't call Michael Steele an Uncle Tom. I didn't call Herman Cain an Uncle Tom. I called Allen West one...because he is. Sorry, that's not racist.

Do we have to give you the definition of "pejorative" as well?
Of course it's a pejorative. That was my intention. If you don't like it, tell him to stop Tomming. Until then, he's an Uncle Tom.

So no, calling him that isn't racist. It's truthful.

The GOP brought this upon themselves.

They kicked his sorry butt out of the military too for being sorry. So this isn't a new experience for him.
I'm in the military. West is the kind of douche who makes the worst kind of Lt. Col. I'm glad they bounced his sorry @ss. The saddest thing about it is that usually black officers still manage to maintain their humanity (not all of them by any stretch, but a good deal more than the white ones). Too bad about West .. not really. Glad to see him go.

Good to see the racist viewpoints come out. Easier to identify the enemy.

Since you asked. You are. Obvious to those without blinders your comment is racist the other posters' isn't. Nice try though.

And you will be called out for your racist comment, because it is.

Sorry yes it is. Because you have a twisted view on racist comments doesn't make it so.

You're a mule or a dog or a block of cement. All because I said it, no rhyme or reason to it, just because I said it.

So yes calling him an Uncle Tom is a racist comment. It's not the truth. The truth of the matter is people who use Uncle Tom believe blacks should mainly do things for their race. Uncle Tom - one who sells out his race.

Would being for a certain policy that hurts blacks more than whites be an Uncle Tom? Like Obamas War on Drugs? So by your definition and using your words isn't Obama an Uncle Tom?

You see this statement as racist? Well, ding ding ding .. newsflash, newsflash, one's background and past experiences shape their current perspectives. For this reason, there are general trends of difference between black military officers and white ones (because, you know, experiencing America as a black person is a bit different than experiencing it as a white one.) Exceptions abound of course, and I meet individuals who don't conform to stereotypes daily, but I don't apologize for taking race into account as one of multiple aspects that make up an individual.

Racists see skin color as THE defining characterstic of a person. That's ignorant nonsense. Anyone who has spent time around black folks will quickly conclude that black people are composed of idiots, intelligent, cultured, educated, crude, compassionate, jerks, religious, secular, etc., etc. ad naseum. The same goes for any other group of people.

Proof that you have no business in the argument. You don't even know what an Uncle Tom is in the first place. This is why non-blacks don't get in these conversations off the net with black folks...they rarely if ever know what the hell they're talking about.

He's an Uncle Tom. Deal with it.

BTW...if you see me as a racist, fine. I won't need sleeping pills.
