Are we going to do this again? The same devisive issues are surfacing. Meanwhile globalization is exploiting some of the worlds most vulnerable people, including illegal aliens. Max profits more important than safety and health standards. The north American monetary unit (the Amero) is on the horizon, a one world currency isn't far fetched. Does a chip implant seem unlikely in time. This is no longer the fantasy of a conspiracy theorist, it never was. Money is driving this monster. Before you blame Bush or Clinton just remember, they both furthered this agenda.

But the same issues keep arising because they are a simpler to understand and most of all to demagogue.

Voting for "the lesser of two evils" only ensures that "evil" will be elected. Instead of voting for "the lesser of two evils" we should be voting for the candidate we think will do the best job for the nation, regardless of whether they win or not.

But instead, we compromise our own principles and vote for agianst candidates who we don't want to win, even though we know that those we cast a vote for will not do the job we want them to do. So instead of voting for the best candidate, we vote for a candidate that will destroy the nation by inches instead of by feet. The end result is the same, it just takes a little longer to destroy the nation when you vote for "the lesser of two evils."

Bush and Clinton may have furthered the agenda but none of those actions is going to complete without action from Congress. Should Congress complete those actions and/or require amending the constitution then the blame will fall directly with the U.S. electorate.

If only 10% of the House were independents (Libertarian preferred), who would be speaker?

Congress... 535 reasons to support term limits with NO benefits and NO grandfathering tenure. Send these bozos home NOW ! ! !

Very true. So many people vote straight party lines. So many refuse to accept that maybe change is good. We have these career politicians who never feel threatened that they may loose their job. They get rich selling us out and yet people reelect them no matter how unhappy they are with the job performance. This past election was about change... But what changed? The same issues that we wanted fixed remain today. They are great at passing nonbinding resolution that do and serve no purpose. These politicians claim to have heard the voice of the american people and yet gas prices are still high, illegal immigration is exactly as it was, Iraq is unchanged. Just what have they actually accomplished? Nothing of importance. If this were a private business people would have been fired for such incompetance.
They talk about raising taxes. But on who? Not themselves ie the wealthy. No on the very people who elected them. And people will go out and reelect them again. These corrupt dogs will point fingers at each other in public and in private snicker and laugh at how gullible americans really are. They have good reason to because we as a collective keep falling for the same lame excuses. Fact the reason nothing gets done is they have no insentive to actually do what they say they will. They have a lot of insentive to do politics as usual because they are getting rich out of the deal.
Vote for the independants send the clear message that they can and will be fired.

A big problem is,states have primaries too far apart. Thus, if a state has a late primary, the people there will have fewer choices, than, say New Hampshire or Iowa which have early primaries.
